Just a few words that express my problems seventy years after.

Quite often, roughly monthly, severe aches (pain) occurs in various sections of the body which have been getting worse as time goes by. The pain does not appear in exactly the same position every time and over the last year or so it has become more intense. The use of pain killers has less effect than it once did so this requires a very controlled use and to a strict routine directed by my GP. I was fortunate in that my original infection was less severe than most so I feel for those that were not as lucky as me.
